On June 10th, the 500000 tons/year mining to sulfuric acid production supporting molten sulfur upgrading project implemented in cooperation between Fuquan Sulfuric Acid Operation Center and Wengfu Chemical Company in the park achieved a major breakthrough - a successful trial production! This marks a crucial progress in enhancing the company's production capacity and service capabilities, and our outstanding technical strength and efficient project execution have been fully validated.
Huang Yingwen, Deputy General Manager of Wylton, presided over the trial production ceremony. Leaders such as Lei Fuqing, Director of Weidun Group's Business Management Department, Yang Daihua, Chairman of Wylton, and Jin Hua, General Manager, attended the scene. With the issuance of the trial production start-up instruction by Chairman Yang, the equipment was immediately put into trial operation. With advanced technology and precise control, qualified refined liquid sulfur was successfully produced in less than 40 minutes, successfully connecting the entire project process.
At 09:06 on June 10th, the sulfur hopper of Line A of the new molten sulfur production line was fed;
At 09:18 on June 10th, the sulfur conveyor was started and solid sulfur was continuously fed into the A sulfur melting tank.
At 9:36 am on June 10th, the A filtration pump was started to deliver crude sulfur to the filtration system;
At 09:46 on June 10th, refined liquid sulfur was produced through secondary filtration and transported to the refined sulfur storage tank.

This fully demonstrates the powerful capabilities of the Weidun team in complex technology applications and rapid production. Lei Fuqing, the head of the management department of the group, conveyed the group's earnest expectations for the project on site and encouraged the team to continue to carry forward the spirit of technical breakthroughs, prepare for the formal production and completion acceptance of the project, and ensure the perfect completion of the project.
At the trial production ceremony, General Manager Jin Hua fully affirmed the outstanding achievements of the project team and expressed sincere gratitude to all participants on behalf of the company. She specifically pointed out that this project is not only an upgrade of production capacity, but also a comprehensive test of Weidun's comprehensive capabilities, and a vivid practice of Weidun's core concept of "customer-oriented and value service". The project team closely focuses on the strategic layout of "mineral acid to sulfonic acid" in the park and the liquid sulfur demand of Wengfu Chemical Company, using exquisite technical solutions and efficient response speed to accurately match customer goals. The Fuquan Sulfuric Acid Operation Center has demonstrated Weidun's service spirit of "mission must be achieved". Faced with multiple challenges such as tight project schedules, limited resources, and complex system interfaces, the team, with strong professional competence and efficient collaborative combat capabilities, not only ensured the timely progress of the project, but also achieved a successful trial production, effectively fulfilling the company's commitment to customers.
Mr. Jin emphasized that the ultimate goal of the sulfur melting upgrading project is to build a safe, efficient, and responsible closed-loop operating system. She requested that the Fuquan sulfuric acid operation team take the trial production as an opportunity to promote the project's transition from "construction compliance" to "operational excellence", and put forward the next stage of work requirements:
1、 Continuously optimize and solidify the foundation. The Fuquan Sulfuric Acid Operation Center takes trial production as a new starting point, adheres to the "project-based management" thinking, focuses on equipment running in and process adaptation, systematically sorts out the operation mechanism, and lays a solid foundation for long-term stable production.
2、 Innovate mechanisms to improve quality and efficiency. Establish a standardized and efficient operational system centered around the four core principles of "stable supply, safe operation, controllable indicators, and visible energy consumption" to ensure that new equipment can maximize its benefits.
3、 Deepen collaboration and prioritize service. Solidify cross departmental collaboration experience, strengthen efficient communication with customers, integrate the "customer-centric" concept into every detail of production, data, and response, and create the ultimate service experience.
The project was quickly launched by Fuquan Sulfuric Acid Operation Center on April 23, 2024, upon receiving the project requirements from Wengfu Chemical Company. The technical work, including design and environmental impact assessment, was efficiently completed. Four months later, the environmental impact assessment was approved and construction began. The project team successfully overcame the technical difficulties of simultaneous production and construction, efficiently completed the dismantling of old devices such as tail suction and auxiliary filtration tanks, built new core facilities such as sulfur melting tanks and filtration tanks, and carried out key technical upgrades and transformations on four liquid sulfur filtration machines, achieving seamless technical connection between the old and new systems. During the construction process, the project team closely collaborated with the design institute to optimize process technology, strictly controlled equipment manufacturing and construction quality, overcame difficulties such as extreme cold and heat, and ensured the high standard progress of the project.


To ensure the smooth operation of the device, the company has made careful arrangements in advance and established a command and work team. All technical teams worked together and adhered to the front line of the project, completing a series of complex technical preparations such as equipment pipeline inspection, pressure and leakage testing, system blowing, and instrument integration with high quality, laying a solid technical foundation for the successful trial production. At present, the device is running smoothly, and the team is continuously optimizing its technology to ensure long-term full load stable operation.
