Build a strong safety defense line | Fuquan Sulfuric Acid Operation Center conducts practical exercises to enhance emergency response capabilities!

In order to implement the policy of "safety first, prevention oriented, and comprehensive management" and enhance the ability to handle seasonal and major hazard source emergencies, on August 29th, the Fuquan Sulfuric Acid Operation Center organized a special emergency drill for heatstroke and sulfuric acid pipeline leakage. The drill is led by the Safety Production Department, with representatives from the Technical Department, Production Department, and contractors participating in coordination, and the Human Resources and Administration Department observing on site.

Consolidate theoretical foundation and build systematic thinking

At 13:00 in the afternoon, the Safety Production Department first conducted training on the drill plan for all participating personnel (including contractor representatives), clarifying the drill process, division of labor, and various emergency response points. Then, the drill was kicked off with tabletop deduction, laying a solid foundation for practical combat.

Multi scenario practical exercises to test comprehensive disposal capabilities

Two major scenarios were simulated during the drill: firstly, when the contractor's personnel were working on the first phase of the cold and hot heat exchanger, they suddenly suffered from heatstroke due to poor high-temperature ventilation. The on-site supervisor immediately called for help, transferred the location, cooled down, and sent them to the hospital; Secondly, there was a leakage in the sulfuric acid pipeline at the outlet of the second phase finished product pump. After the inspection personnel reported it, the emergency command center quickly activated the contingency plan. The alert team set up an area to evacuate personnel, the emergency team wore acid prevention equipment to seal the leak, the medical team treated heatstroke patients, and the monitoring team carried out environmental monitoring. The whole process was tense and orderly, handled professionally.

Multi dimensional inspection collaboration mechanism to enhance practical skills

This drill not only effectively verified the linkage of contingency plans and the efficiency of command and dispatch under dual emergencies, but also exercised the contractor's initial emergency response capabilities, collaborative operations between various rescue teams, and the ability to communicate and cooperate among all parties. Practical experience has shown that the participating personnel respond quickly and operate in a standardized manner, and the existing emergency plan has the ability to respond to complex emergencies.

Reviewing and improving to build a long-term security mechanism

After the drill, the safety production department organized a review and confirmed that the drill had achieved the goal of "inspecting the plan and training the team", while pointing out issues such as unfamiliarity with the evacuation route for heatstroke patients. Next, the center will implement immediate reforms and optimize contingency plans through regular drills to establish a strong safety defense line.
