The Wylton (China) Sulfuric Acid Operations Center was established on September 18, 2001, with main products including sulfuric acid, medium pressure steam, and low pressure steam. The company is located in Machangping, Fuquan City, Guizhou Province, within the factory area of Guizhou Wengfu (Group) Co., Ltd., the largest phosphate compound fertilizer production base in China. It has formed a solid strategic partnership with Wengfu Chemical Company to support Wengfu's phosphate and ammonium phosphate production. Witton (China) Chemical Co., Ltd. completed and put into operation a 400000 ton sulfur based sulfuric acid plant in 2003. In 2005, according to the needs of Wengfu's production development, a second 400000 ton sulfur based sulfuric acid plant was added, achieving an annual sulfuric acid production capacity of 800000 tons.
